MW series fittings can be identified by the 2 lines located on the ferrule. When making hose assemblies using MW series fittings, make sure that the hose you are using is designed to work with the MW series hose fittings.
MS series fittings have a strong structure designed for surge pressures and spikes, high impulses, and vibration (4 spiral). They also have great resistance to fatigue. HS series fittings can be identified by the 6 lines located on the ferrule. When making hose assemblies using HS series fittings, make sure that the hose you are using is designed to work with the HS series hose fittings.

Reusable RU Series fittings are an excellent choice for emergency repairs.
Assembly can be accomplished with hand wrenches; there is no crimper required. Properly assembled, a hose with reusable fittings will meet all applicable SAE specifications.
